Anniversaries and Home

So, we thought it might be fun to start a blog of our life out here in Arizona. Our life out here is pretty simple, but we have a lot of fun. We recently celebrated our 4 month pre-wedding anniversary. For those of you who aren't familiar with the term, it is essentially a great excuse to go out to eat! If you talk it up with your waiter/waitress, you may even get free dessert and special treatment out of it. Yes, believe it or not, we did manage to pull this off on our 5 month pre-anniversary. We intend on continuing to milk this for all it's worth.

This anniversary was particularly exciting, because it just so happened that that was the date that one of our favorite singers- Pete Yorn was in town. We had a great time, and due to my obsessive need to arrive at every event I attend at least 2 hour early, we managed to get in the very front row. For all of you Eagles fans out there, Chris even got it out of Pete that he attended Syracuse University with Donavan McNabb, where they had a class together- pretty exciting! As a result of the show, I now have a new obsession with an old song called "Never My Love"- it is a serious threat to Jackie Greene's "Honey I've Been thinking about you" as most played song on itunes. It's a great song.

Chris went back east this week to visit Atlantic City--ummm....I mean to visit friends and family.... On a serious note, Chris was very excited about his trip home to Philly to see everyone, but Atlantic City did get mentioned once or twice in his plans. Let's just hope we still have a honeymoon account when he returns.....just kidding Chris!

As for me, I am spending some quality time researching the calender of events at Walt Disney World during our wedding week! I can't think of many more exciting ways to spend a weekend!
