Florida

Well, I am finally here. I have been in Tampa for about two weeks now. Chris is on his way out here tomorrow. So far, it is a lot like Arizona- HOT. I find that I do prefer the weather here though. It is nice because it cools off in the evenings, something that never happened in the summer in Arizona. Since I have been out here, I have encountered these odd wet things falling from the sky- I feel like I know them from a previous life- oh yes, rain drops. It is weird, because I didn't realize how much I missed random showers. I find that, instead of avoiding the rain, I am the first one to go out in it these days or just sit and watch it through the window. I am sure that the novelty will wear off soon enough though.

Life here is going to be really good. I really enjoy my job so far. I can tell that it is going to really keep me busy. I already have more responsibilities than I ever had while working for Amica. I am starting to get into a routine here, and we all know how I am a creature of habit, so coming up with a new routine is imperative.

I have only made it to Disney World one day since I have been out here. I wasn't able to go last weekend, due to our POD arriving. I did enjoy a few hours roaming the Magic Kingdom with a Monstro pretzel. It was really crowded, so the only attraction that I did was the Carousel of Progress- always a favorite! It was just really nice to be back there and not have to wonder when I would be there again. I didn't notice too many changes, but then again, I didn't have much time there. I wish that they had a Disney Gallery to sell their nice artwork like Disneyland has. I did really miss that.

Bugs- My greatest fear has been realized. We co-habitate with bugs. They were here from Day 1. My new can of extra strength RAID is my new best friend. I don't leave a room without it. The good news is that I had an exterminator come to the apartment last week, and I have not seen a living bug in two days- knock wood. The fact that there are bugs around is giving me extra motivation to get busy looking for a home to relocate.

I am really excited for Chris to get out here so we can really start our new life together down in Florida.

That is about it for now. I am so excited to have the internet up and running. I go through withdrawal if too much time goes by without internet access! :-)
